너무나 현실적이고, 그래서 두렵고. 결국, 작가의 감독의 결말이 그래야 하지 않겠느냐는 위로.
연기, 극복, 연출 뭐 하나 빠지지 않음.

• 감상
#. 영국 드라마 특유의 건조함이 꽉 차있는 작품.
#. 대영제국 작품답게, 굉장히 클래식한 느낌이 있다. 매 작품에 나오는 OTS나 클래식 BGM이 상당히 매력있다. OST LITS 를 찾고 싶다..........
#. 원래 영국드라마 기획 포스트에 짧게 시청소감만 기록해뒀었는데 이 작품은 한 꼭지로 다뤄둬야겠다 싶어서 작성한다.
#. 며칠전에 시즌6을 보았는데 한마디로 마스터피스 시즌이랄까. 물론 빌런이 너무 눈에 띄긴 했으나, 1에피부터 시작해서 화려한 시즌엔딩까지 스토리텔링이 기가 막혔다. 인데버는 작품성이 굉장히 수준이 높아서 매 시즌이 대단하지만, 6시즌은 정말 내 기준으로는 별 다섯개도 부족할 정도.

• 내가 이 드라마를 고르게 된 이유
#. 당시에 영드에 푹 빠져서 디씨에서 다운받아서 보곤 했는데, 영드 중에서 수사/경찰/탐정/추리물에 대한 신뢰도가 굉장히 높기 때문에 픽. 이 종류의 장르물은 전 세계에서 영국이 TOP 이라고 생각한다.

• 여담
#. 대체 인데버가 무슨뜻인지 아무리 검색해도 모르겠었는데 알고보니 배역의 이름이었다는.
#. 한동안 바빠서 시즌을 쫓아가지 못했었는데, 마침 웨이브에서 제공해주고 있어서 다행스럽게도 시청중이다(8시즌). 분명히... 7시즌 언저리까지 보았던 기억이 나는데 작품에 대한 기억이 도무지 나질 않아서 한시즌 한시즌 앞으로 돌리다 보니, 3시즌부터 보게 되었다. 내 기억력 어쩔... 그래도 마지막으로 기억하는 에피스도가 강렬히 남아있어서 심지어 어디까지 봤었는지 기억하더라는.

• Set from 1965 into the 1970s, the show follows Endeavour Morse in his early years as a police constable. Working alongside his senior partner DI Fred Thursday, Morse engages in a number of investigations around Oxford.
• Series 1 follows the early police career of young Endeavour Morse, who upon leaving his Oxford College without a degree, spending time in the Royal Signal Corps., and eventually joining the Oxfordshire Police, is transferred to CID, attaining the rank of Detective Constable. Originally starting out his career at Carshall-Newtown Police, Morse transfers to the Oxford City Police in 1965 following a murder investigation during the pilot episode. While with the Oxford City Police, Morse is taken under the wing of veteran Detective Inspector Fred Thursday. Inspector Thursday names Morse his designated "bag man" and shows him the ropes as Morse begins to solve a string of complex murders, much to the envy and annoyance of some of his superiors, particularly Detective Sergeant Jakes and Chief Superintendent Bright. Thursday and Morse's fellow officer, Police Constable Strange, try to steer the young Endeavour into taking his Sergeant's exam, so that he may be relieved of "General Duties" and become Thursday's official "bag man" with the appropriate rank and title.—harrycallahan18

오 역시 엄마는 위대해.
주연배우의 연기가 훌륭했고, 스토리 라인에 흠뻑 빠졌다. 알고도 보는류.

- 영화 Straw 는 넷플릭스에 뜬 최근 영화이다. 한국 제목은 벼랑끝에 서서.
- 드라마류를 별로 보지 않아 우는 일이 별로 없는데, 은행강도 영화를 보면서 이렇게 울일인가 싶을 정도로 상황에 큰 공감이 되었다. 고달픈 그들의 삶은 ing.
- 아래는 영화감상 이후 소개하고 싶은 흐름도... 영화 초반부에 대한 스포일러다.

• 내가 이 영화를 고르게 된 이유
여느때와 마찬가지로 넷플릭스를 키고 오늘은 뭐를 고를까... 하다가 어?! 이 배우 히든 피겨스에 나온 배우 아니야? 하고 연기력이 좋은 배우는 작품도 좋을 것이라는 편견이 있는 내게 딱 꽂힌. 스토리라인도 내가 좋아하는 은행강도류여서 픽.

• 여담

• ​Storyline
#. 아픈 아이를 키우는 싱글맘 저나이어. 아이의 급식비 40달러가 필요했을 뿐인 그녀에게 단 하루동안 아동국에 아이를 잃고 직장을 잃고 차를 잃고 월급을 잃는 일이 생겨버린다. 이 미처버린 상황으로 판단이 흐려진 그녀는 521달러 수표를 신분증이 없어 교환하지 못하자 은행강도가 되어버린다. 하루에 한꺼번에 몰아쳐 벼랑 끝에 내몰리는 상황을 긴박하게 잘 그려낸 수작.

#. 감상
- 굉장히 연출이 뛰어나다. 스토리는 과연 어떻게 진행될지 너무 궁금해서 다음편을 안볼수가 없다.
- 결국 드라마 보고 나서 원작인 웹툰도 보게 만들어버린.
- 과연 정의로운 살인이라는 게 있을 수 있느냐마는.. 우리는 정의롭지 못한 시대에 살고 있기에 이런 다크 히어로를 갈망하고 응원하는게 아닐까.

#. Storyline
- 우연히 살인을 시작하게 된 평범한 남자와 그를 지독하게 쫓는 형사의 이야기를 그린 넷플릭스 시리즈
- When one accidental killing leads to another, an ordinary young man finds himself stuck in an endless cat-and-mouse chase with a shrewd detective.
- Lee Tang (Choi Woo-Sik) is an ordinary university student. While he works his part-time job at a convenience store, he gets into a fight with a rude drunk man and accidentally kills him. #. 애틋함을 이렇게나 잘 표현할 수가 있을까. 결말까지 완벽했던 작품.

#. Storyline
- The story is set during the Joseon Dynasty when twins were considered an ominous sign. When the Crown Princess Consort gives birth to twins, an order is sent to kill the daughter. To save her, she is secretly sent out of the palace.
- The Crown Prince's wife gave birth to twins, but twins were considered an ominous sign. The twin daughter was supposed to be killed, but her mother begged to save her life. Secretly, the twin daughter is sent out of the palace. Years later, the twin son Lee Hwi dies, and the twin daughter is forced to take his place, becoming the Crown Prince. Because of her secret, she lives afraid her real identity will be revealed, and Lee Hwi is unable to have anyone close to her. She hides her emotions from others and she makes biting remarks. Jung Ji Woon comes from a noble family. He is handsome, smart, an optimist who enjoys life, and he becomes her tutor. Crown Prince Lee Hwi develops feeling for Jung Ji Woon, who she shares a past with.

#. 1회차 1분이 넘어가면, 8회차까지 가는 당신을 볼 수 있다. 극의 전개나 스토리, 흡입력, 배우들 연기 등 뭐하나 빠질 것 없는 수작.

#. Storyline
- The story about a woman who joins an organized crime ring and infiltrates the police as an undercover agent in order to find out the truth about her father's death.
- Yoon Ji-woo's father dies suddenly. She wants to desperately take revenge on whoever is responsible for her father's death. Yoon Ji-woo works for drug crime group Dongcheonpa. Choi Moo-jin is the boss of the drug gang. With the help of Choi Moo-jin and to uncover the reason for her father's death, Yoon Ji-woo joins the police department and becomes a mole for the drug group. Yoon Ji-woo is assigned to work in the drug investigation unit in the police department. Her partner there is Detective Jeon Pil-do.

# 감상
- 청소년 조현병 환자에 대한 공감을 - 그들이 사는 세계가 어떤 식인지 잘 몰랐었는데 - 충분히 이끌어 냈다고 본다. 연출의 힘. 그들도 삶을 살고 싶은데... 생각지도 못하게 감동을 받았다.
- 신부님과 아담의 대화는 늘 재밌었고, 시니컬한 아담이지만 그때만큼은 진실되게 대화하는 모습이 보기 좋았다. 그래서 뜻밖의 방문, 거기서 나눈 대화 이후 더욱 감동이 왔다. 아담도 누군가에게 감정을 교류하는구나 싶어서. 이런 흐름을 통해 양부의 편지에도 감동이 배가 되었다.

# 여담
- 화장실에 그닥 쓰여진 글도 많지 않았는데 굳이 제목으로 한건 무슨 이유일까. 그 글로 파생된 스토리도 없었는데 말이지.
- 찰리 플러머는 처음 본 배우인데 연기를 잘해서 잘생기지도 않았고 배우적 매력도 보이지 않는데도 다른 작품을 찾게 만들었다.

# 감상
- 폭력이 난무하는 영화이기는 한데 폭력이 별로 기억나지 않는다고 할까.

- 영화가 끝나고 나서 생각해보니, 악역들이 모두 권총이 아닌 다른 도구로 피해를 입히고 있었다는 게 특이했다. 뉴욕의 범죄라면 으레 당연히 권총이 위협도구일텐데 처음의 사건은 파이프였고 두번째는 나이프 세번째는 타이거 조이는 도구였고. 일부러 그렇게 연출한것인가 싶었다. 호신용 총기 미화 영화였던것일까.

- 최초의 피해이후 밖으로 선뜻 나가지 못하는 주인공의 심리묘사가 좋았다. 이후 총기를 소지하고 있는 것만으로 든든한 심리적 안정감으로 본인 생활로 돌아갈 수 있게 된다. 의도치 않은 두번의 살인은 정당방위로 처리할 수 있지만, 세번째는 단순한 폭행치사였고 네번째는 복수극이었다. 갈수록 주인공의 범죄는 진화한다.

- 자동권총은 연습하지 않아도 실력이 나아지나? 총을 처음 쏴본다는데 운좋게 처음 사건은 명중을 했다 하더라도 연습하는 게 하나도 없는데 두번째는 그냥 명중된다. 근접사격이라 그런가.

- 주인공의 사냥실력이 천재적이라는 개연성 없는 설정만 빼고는 꽤나 좋은 영화다. 서사가 완벽하고 결말도 훈훈.

- 조디 포스터의 낮고 허스키한 음색은 영화의 우울함과 복수심리를 잘 표현해준다. 테렌스 하워드의 법을 수호하는 사람이지만 악한들을 벌하고 싶다는 복선과 에리카에 대한 동정심은 개연성있게 연출되었다.

- 조디 포스터는 스릴러물에 최적화된 배우같다. 그녀가 나오는 모든 범죄스릴러는 다 만족도가 높다.

# 흥미로운점
Before Jodie Foster was attached to this movie, the character of Erica was supposed to be a newspaper reporter. Foster changed her job to radio host because she thought that her being a print journalist didn't "didn't set a mood for the film and it wasn't as compelling in terms of the narrative" as being a radio reporter was. Foster also wanted to specify that Erica worked for the real news organization National Public Radio, but NPR declined to allow their name to be used in the movie because of the vigilante aspects of the plot.

# Storyline
- Struggling to recover emotionally from a brutal assault that killed her fiancé and left her in a coma, a radio personality begins a quest for vengeance against the perpetrators that leaves a bloody trail across New York City.

- Erica Bain is a happy radio host from a city she loves and with a fiancé she adores. However, a brutal attack in New York's Central Park changes her life forever, leaving her in a coma for 3 weeks and her fiancé dead. In an attempt to feel safer after the attack, she buys a gun. However New York does not feel the same as it did anymore and Erica has several encounters where she is not afraid to use her new gun.
