International Day for Tolerance
The United Nations’ (UN) International Day for Tolerance is annually observed on November 16 to educate people about the need for tolerance in society and to help them understand the negative effects of intolerance. 똘레랑스란 우리 말로 관용, 용인, 포용력 정도로 해석할 수 있다. 상대의 사상이나 이념을 존중하며 인정한다는 관용의 뜻을 가지고 있는 단어로써 상호존중을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다.
바로 익숙하지 않다고 비난하지 않는 자세라고 볼 수 있다.
